We got 21 inches of snow on Dec. 19.
This past weekend we had a snowfall of 24.8 inches officially, but many areas received 30 or more inches.
Big whopper snowstorms are fairly rare here, though not unheard of. Previous ones were in 2003 and 1996.
This is the first time since records began that we’ve received two 20-inches-plus snowstorms in the same season.
Another storm is on the way, with estimates of 10 to 20 inches of snow beginning tonight and into tomorrow.
We’re set to set a record for most snowfall in a season for the area. We’ve already hit the mark for second-snowiest season.
I’ve had it up to here (sixty-some inches and counting) with the snow …
for the record.
