Beautiful shot, Adam. Brings to mind an almost a thousand year old Hungarian poem that would translate something like “In the end we are reduced to dust and ash”.
Thanks, Erika. That’s certainly appropriate. I took it on the graveyard grounds at Westminster Hall in Baltimore, where Poe is buried. There are vaults and mausoleums, and some of the grave markers are so old they are tilted and sinking into the ground, with their faces eroded away.
